After a long and careful deliberation it was decided that we will be investing in real estate to boost our budget for filming. It wasn't an easy decision, for many reasons. One, which is more important than the others, is that it suspends this project and there are several current participants who want to move forward with it right now. That pains me about the decision. However, there's a bright side as it will definitely increase our overall budget and will pave the way for a cast payroll. That was one of our problems with netting a full cast. The majority of the people who responded to the ads are aspiring actors and actresses who are looking to make a career out of acting and wants to be paid. Understandably so. That coupled with the criticism of people's misunderstanding about the purpose of the film and an increasing disdain for law enforcement made casting an arduous task, ultimately leading to this decision. It also took a lot of deliberation and contemplation because of the uncertainty with everything that's going on in the housing market due to politics and interest rates. As a nation we are in some crazy times right now. And many people have found themselves in a state of being "house poor" since purchasing homes from late 2024 to the present. But for reasons previously stated, we made this decision.
